My name is Gloria Juedemann and I am the Director for the Jiangsu Education Department Teacher Training Program. I have a marvelous assistant who works with me. Jamie Schiffel is an experienced teacher in the US. She also has extensive experience working and teaching in China. New teachers in this program benefit from our combined expertise and experience and we are always here to assist you with any questions.
I am a retired school counselor from the state of Missouri and I invite you to join me this coming summer to teach in China for two weeks in July. I have taught in this program each summer since 2006 and it is the only program of its kind available anywhere. This is a safe and trusted program sponsored by the Chinese Department of Education. If you have ever wanted to see and experience China, this is for you!
I became a Director in 2009 and I recruit teachers to take part in this exciting opportunity. Next summer promises to give you a real opportunity to learn about China. I have 30 positions available for two weeks in July. You will have to depart the US by July 5 and return no earlier than July 23.

At We Teach in China, our goal is to promote cultural awareness through educational exchange. We provide quality teachers to help the Chinese teachers improve their conversational English skills and assist them with methods of teaching. Our teachers experience China up close and personal and learn about the everyday life of the Chinese in a safely guided environment. In addition, you are provided tours of Nanjing and local cities.

If you have two weeks available the second and thrid week of July 2017, and you want to teach in China for a short term, then this is where you begin. I will guide you and lead you through the whole process.Teaching positions are available to native English speaking educators from all disciplines, and currently retired teachers. A TESOL certificate is not necessary but welcomed. You may click on the picture below to see photos of teaching in China. An additional tour is available and you do not have to be a teacher to join the tour.

The 2017 summer program is scheduled to begin the second week of July, and concludes on Saturday after your last day of teaching. All teaching assignments are in the Jiangsu Province.
Once you are picked up in Shanghai, all of your room and board is furnished by the school. Each teacher is provided with a modern private hotel room and a tour of the local area where they are assigned. In addition, teachers are paid a stipend of 5000 Yuan (approx $730.00) for two weeks teaching. You will teach five hours a day, five days a week.. You have your own class and you are assigned to a school with other teachers from our group and you are never alone..
